    Brief Company Description
    AGC Heat Transfer, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alfa Laval, AB, is the leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, manufacturing plate heat exchangers specifically designed for sanitary applications. AGC offers complete heat exchangers, services as well as upgrades to plate packs, gaskets and spares that fit multiple brands. In addition, AGC offers Field Leak Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers that meet the 3-A sanitary standard.

    AGC Heat Transfer consists of three manufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR & Pleasant Prairie, WI) with about 110 employees (70 OR / 20 VA / 20 other locations). Currently, most of the sales are in the US & Canada. AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering culture with a heavy emphasis on customer service and technical/consultative sales.

    Job Description
    Major focus of responsibilities will be in the manufacturing job costing area, supports line management in analysis and decision-making needs, KPI / P&L monitoring, both ad hoc and routine; however, there will be other functions as well.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or informatics is required.

    Position Responsibilities
    • Setting standard costs of manufactured goods
    • Set up Jobs, including phase codes, hours budget, & unbilled costs.
    • Developing and analyzing cost standards.
    • Analyzing production costs and recommending changes.
    • Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
    • Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
    • Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
    • Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
    • Analyzing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization
    • Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
    • Systems Implementation and Maintaining the ERP system (EM10) database.
    • Assisting with procurement and manufacturing planning
    • Manages Cost Update process; and KPI reporting.
    • Develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports, and modify ERP data to enhance organizational productivity.
    • Work closely with all departments to analyze and supply information to keep business activities flowing smoothly to completion.
    • Other specifically assigned tasks where needed by the Company.

    Skills & Qualifications
    • Two (2) years of Financial/Data analysis or relevant experience in a Manufacturing Environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or informatics
    • Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
    • Strong computer skills required.
    • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
    • Experience with MACOLA EM10 a plus.
    • Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards.
    • Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
    • Experience in working with teams and multiple departments across the organization is essential.
    • Requires strong oral and written communication skills including good interpersonal skills.
    • Able to travel to production locations as required.

    Job Type
    • Full-time, Exempt (Salaried)

    Wage
    • $68,000 - $72,000 annually
