STAINLESS TIE-BOLT FRAMES - CONSTRUCTION QUALITY WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE
AGC’s stainless steel clad line of tie-bolt frames has been a staple in sanitary (or hygienic) processing applications such as dairy, food, and beverage products. Stainless steel clad units provide superior strength with a higher pressure rating and solid quality of construction of frame components. For example, AGC end support construction is polished tube steel versus thin, channel steel.
For a more economical approach, with uses in hygienic (or sanitary) and utility applications, AGC’s stainless steel bead blasted frame is a great alternative. With solid stainless steel frame components, it can handle wash down or corrosive applications with ease. At a lower pressure rating, the XP range of frames are a perfect fit for heater/cooler applications and utilities.
Each style of stainless steel frames uses AGC’s ProFlow Series plate design, which provides designs for food-specific processing applications. In addition, both have hygienic design features such as:
